Beauty and Community

A conversation with Darling Boutique’s Linnea White.

Hustle and grace. Those are the two words that come to mind when I think of Darling Boutique shop owner, Linnea White. As a three time recipient of a “Best of Charlottesville” award she has much to celebrate, but she handles it all with grace and humility. She wants her customers to know that there’s beauty in everything– and hopes she can help them make a positive impact on the community by selling local crafts and consignment clothing.

If you told Linnea as a fourth year English major that she would soon be running a business, she would’ve called you crazy. Now, she’s a leader in forming a female business community in Charlottesville– #bossbabes, she calls it. She also works at female-owned businesses MADabolic Charlottesville and M3 Core training, where she works with “everyday athletes” on strengthening body and mind. Every woman, she believes, deserves to feel truly beautiful.

Watch Linnea talk beauty, community, and making her customers feel appreciated– well, Darling.
