It’s Valentines Day.
Everyone deals with it differently. You may spend the day, for example, making “forever alone” memes while waiting for discounted candy. You may watch one of those movies with Hugh Grant (you’re not sure which one). You may tuck in with wine and chocolate, bored because it’s too awkward to send that “wyd” on Valentine’s Day, even though you both know you don’t really care, although you might be able to see it being something more, but you’re not in the place for a relationship right now, and anyway, he’s not your type. You may even be enjoying a candlelight dinner with the one you love.
Whatever your Valentine’s Day tradition (we’re not here to judge), you shouldn’t have to cope alone. We’ve collected nearly 100 heartwarming, funny, and honest student stories. Read along with your peers as they navigate relationships, friendships, and romances– and make memories on UVa’s landscape.
