Hipster Wars: Corner Indie Battle at Boylan Heights

Corner Indie Festival’s Battle of the Bands took over Boylan Heights for a competition featuring seven local groups.

 

On February 16th, Corner Indie Fest, a Charlottesville startup music festival, held the first ever Corner Indie Battle (CIB) at Boylan Heights.  This battle of the bands competition featured seven bands from around Grounds and the Charlottesville community and attracted people of all ages.  The winner of CIB this year was The Willies, winning a first place cash prize of $192 and a slot in this year’s Corner Indie Fest on May 3rd.
