Announcement: Some exciting changes to HackCville

We’re excited to announce that we’re joining forces with…

What a year it’s been here at HackCville! We’ve added over 80 new members to our talented community, hosted events and programming impacting over 1000 UVa students, and showcased the power of student-led entrepreneurship here in Charlottesville. Our mission to empower and connect students with entrepreneurial thinking continues next year with some exciting changes.

In fall 2015, the Entrepreneurship Group will not be renewing its CIO status. However, we’re excited to announce that EG’s excellent programs will continue here at HackCville. Look out for awesome startup trips to NYC and Cville this fall and an even bigger Super Demo next spring – it’s going to be a great year!

We’re also excited to welcome EG’s kickass student leaders to the HackCville team. We’ve worked with them very closely over the last year, and we’re pumped to have them now part of the official HackCville community.

So, what do these changes mean for you as a HackCville member? It’s simple: phenomenal startup trips, a new diversity of speakers at #9 Elliewood, and a stronger leadership team working to ensure the continued growth of our awesome community.

If you have any questions about this change, feel free to reach out! We’re super excited to provide a home for EG’s programs at HackCville, and we’re looking forward to making next year the best year yet for student entrepreneurship at UVa!
