An immersive, 10-week program hosted by HackCville

"HackCville provides a space to explore oneself in a number of ways and the community of people loves to embrace newcomers and help them grow. I have felt the skills I have learned through HackCville are invaluable as I prepare for the real world."

Learn design principles and the Adobe Creative Suite

Vector is a 10-week program that focuses on learning hard skills with Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign - as well as soft skills for basic graphic design and branding. Through a rotation of workshops with hands-on learning and reviews, this program will introduce the iterative and reflective process of design.

Practice through real-world projects

Throughout the program, you'll work on hands-on projects within the local community to put your skills into practice. Projects will range from resume design, logo design, poster design, gif creation, and more. By the end of the program students will have developed their own personal design style and be comfortable using design software to create high quality products.

"HackCville provides an awesome community of talented and passionate peers and a welcoming clubhouse in which to do work or hang out. Overall, it's an awesome community filled with bright people who like to get shit done, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for exactly that."
- Anna Kuno, HackCville Member
"Getting to know the people in the community has been by far the best aspect of my time at HackCville. It is motivating and inspiring to be surrounded by those who are constantly hustling while also trying to innovate in whatever they are doing."
- Tyler Wagner, HackCville Member

"My favorite part about HackCville is learning a new skill with a group of like-minded but unique peers. The community feel and new friends are just the icing on the cake to the phenomenal program I was in this semester. I feel like I have skills I can continue using during college, (hopefully) in the workplace, and for my own enjoyment in years to come."
