"HackCville not only taught me a lot about innovation and what I have to do in order to even begin thinking about creating my own project, it has also taught me a lot about what other current innovators are doing. I have truly enjoyed being exposed to entrepreneurship and gaining more knowledge about all of the deep and critical thinking that goes behind creating a start up."
- Moises Mendoza, Spark Program Graduate

Learn how entrepreneurship can be used to affect change in education

Spark is a 10-week program for students interested in the intersection of education and entrepreneurship, and how we can innovate toward the future of education. You'll hear from local and national changemakers, participate in interactive design thinking workshops, and work on real projects with local community partners to put what you learn into practice.

Launch a career in education innovation

Spark guides students in thinking critically about and solving problems in education. Graduates of Spark have a comprehensive understanding of design thinking and are prepared for careers as innovative educators, education entrepreneurs, non-profit leaders, and education policymakers.

"HackCville opened me to a whole new way of thinking about myself, my skills, and my career goals. It also introduced and exposed me to a whole new group of insanely talented, driven, and inspiring people that have supported me and provided me with amazing opportunities."
- Amanda Coombs, HackCville Member
"My favorite part about HackCville is learning a new skill with a group of like-minded but unique peers. The community feel and new friends are just the icing on the cake to the phenomenal program I was in this semester. I feel like I have skills I can continue using during college, (hopefully) in the workplace, and for my own enjoyment in years to come."
- Kaleigh Watson, HackCville Member
