Ignite - Social Entrepreneurship Program - HackCville

HackCville’s Social Entrepreneurship Program

Ignite is a 12-week program that introduces students to the wide world of social entrepreneurship. Learn more about Ignite below, or learn more about all of HackCville’s programs here.

Program Details

Ignite’s workshops explore a wide range of social issues, from climate change to human rights. Ignite will also explore and train students in how individuals and ventures tackle these real-world problems. All students will apply what they learn through hands-on projects in the Charlottesville community and beyond. All students also get access to HackCville’s robust network of alumni mentors and social ventures.

Ignite’s hands-on projects, intensive workshops, personalized mentorship, and career guidance give graduates the awareness, skills, and network they need to be successful in social entrepreneurship.

Ignite meets every Wednesday 6:15-7:45pm starting the week of February 5 at HackCville.

Ignite is sponsored by Social Entrepreneurship at the University of Virginia.

Along the way, you'll be become close with your peers. Many of our students end up starting projects together with the people they meet.

2. Projects

These make great resume-building and portfolio-building experiences, too.

3. Mentorship

Our team also meets with you several times one-on-one to ensure you're getting the most out of your program.

4. Trips
